Honoring Mom
Students ages six to twelve are invited to take part in a one hour lesson, “Honoring Mom.” In this lesson we consider the incredible gift our mothers and grandmothers are in our lives. Ephesians 6:2-3 says, “Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land.” Kids will gain ideas for how to strengthen these precious relationships and create a craft to honor their moms. Each student will bring home a resource guide to help them show kindness and love to their moms this Mother’s Day and everyday. Instruction is tailored to address the different developmental stages so that students at every age can learn and grow.
