Making Table Manners Fun
During this 3 week session, Wendy will focus on some of the very basics of table manners and etiquette! Students will review how to make a good first impression, how to be a good friend, how to be helpful and how to be a grateful receiver of gifts and compliments. Our main focus for this series will be table manners. Students will learn how to set a table, how to order with a clear strong voice, how to use a napkin and many other essential skills to be a pleasant companion at the dinner table! Children will learn all of these things in an interactive environment where each child has an opportunity to role play desired behaviors. Each child will leave with a resource guide highlighting some of the topics discussed so that parents can follow up with more discussion and practice at home each week. Checklists are included so children can monitor their own progress.
This class is adjusted for boys and girls ages 5-10 and is a great choice, as the content is relevant for all elementary students!
